This smells faintly of almond extract/ almond oil and I am so here for it. I absolutely love it! I thought for sure this would be a great addition to my acids collection. Wrong! This Mandelic Acid claims to smooth skin, help with acne, and moisturizer. It didn’t do any of that for me. I used it as part of my p.m. routine for 7 days and saw no difference in my skin whatsoever. It is clear like water with no smell at all. I expected at least a tingle due to it being an acid but felt nothing. It was as if I was apply more water to my face. Maybe this would be more ideal for someone with sensitive skin. I would NOT recommend this for someone that regularly uses acids in their skincare routine.

I received this a while ago and have tried it a couple of times. It is essentially an exfoliating water which removes dead skin cells and smoothens the skin. Applying it after cleansing 2-3 times a week. — The packaging is really nice which makes the product easy to use whether you want to pat or apply in a cotton pad. I did not notice any fragrance which is great even for sensitive skin. It turns out quite sticky but at the same time hydrating. I have yet to see immediate results but I am excited to be using this more and see further results.

The Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water By Wishtrend is a gentle exfoliating water. It's meant to remove dead skin cells and smooth dull/rough skin. It is made for all skin types and is gentle enough for people with sensitive skin. The directions say to "apply adequate amount to the skin and pat lightly to absorb." It can also be used with a cotton pad for better exfoliation. I prefer to use it with a cotton pad because it is easier. I didn't notice any fragrance and I didn't have any bad reactions to this product. I've been enjoying using it morning and night to help enhance my skin's absorption of other products. After using it for a week, I did notice a change in my skin texture. It does seem to be a bit smoother. Overall, I would definitely be interested in purchasing in the future!

Everyone who has been following me knows that I change products in my routine often. However, the acids remain the same while the rest of it in my routine keeps changing based on my skin's needs. I had just finished using the Blithe Splash Masks and I wanted to try Mandelic Acid since I had primarily been using Lactic Acid for exfoliation. @bywishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water had been getting rave reviews in the #abcommunity and I was excited to see this on #08l .. Mandelic acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid derived from bitter almonds. Mandelic acid molecules are larger in size when compared to Glycolic Acid and so is considered gentle since it penetrates into the skin slowly. For folks that cannot use Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid is considered to be an effective exfoliant. Studies have shown it is most effective in clearing post acne marks and improving skin tone and texture, something I struggle with. It is also supposed to help with acne because of its anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties .. This toner is watery and runny with almost no fragrance (atleast I could not detect any). It comes in a opaque translucent bottle with a stopper at the top to control the dispersal of the product. Since I was not sure how my skin would react to this I started using this every other day for the first week. I use a cotton pad and swipe it all across my face and pat. Right on application it tingles a little, not burning or stinging just minor tingling sensation right in the problem areas. There was no irritation, redness, flaking, reactions whatsoever. The 2nd week I started using it every night post cleansing before my hydrating toner. Apart from 5% Mandelic acid this also contains hydrating and soothing ingredients like Beta Glucan, Panthenol, Centella Asiatica Extract and Sodium Hyaluronate. These ingredients help in ensuring this does not dry your skin. I experienced no dryness or flaking with it. (Continued in comments)

I honestly wasnt expecting much of this product as I am really picky of what products i use on my skin. However, after only several days of using Mandelic Acid 5 Skin Prep Water, I can totally feel my face getting smoother! Futhermore, it gives a refreshing feel after each usage! This is so much 0.8l for the introduction to this balancing toner. I was very green to the properties of this product but quickly began my research. "This mandelic acid toner contains 5% mandelic acid that easily penetrates skin to help improve pigmentation and heal blemishes. Along with beta-glucan, panthenol, centella extract and sodium hyaluronate, this toner restores hydration while gently exfoliating skin at the same time without irritation. Suitable even for sensitive skin." I began using this as a toner post the washing of my face by dropping 4-5 drops out of the special dropper top in my hands and patting it on my face. I noticed a slight bit of a burning sensation but nothing that was over the top... especially from an acid based product. I was able to try this @Wishtreand Mandelic Acid 5 Skin Prep Water thanks to @0.8l_usa. This is a hydrating exfoliant that can be used daily. With ingredients like B5 and Sodium Hyaluronate there is no irritation to your skin. I did feel a slight tingle when I applied it but nothing uncomfortable and my skin looks very clear after only a few uses. I enjoy using this to exfoliate instead of harsh creams that can actually damage you skin if the granules are too abrasive. This honest review is for By Wishtrend's Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water as a try for a $3.99. It is a hydrating and nonirritating exfoliant that can be used daily. The toner has 3 key ingredients: mandelic acid, panthenol, and sodium hyaluronate. Also effective for acne due to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties. Sensitive skin people can use this toner without irritation. I like this toner because it cleaned and hydrated my skin. And it doesn't have a smell to it. Also I like how it comes out slowly since it has a small opening which you can see in one of the pictures. I did have a slight problem when I had a scratch on my face and used the toner. It stung a little. Otherwise I would suggest others to use this toner since it worked well.

MANDELIC ACID 5 SKIN PREP WATER What does it supposed to do? -hydrating -non-irritant exfoliant -Helps with pigmentation to improve skin tone & texture -Effective for acne due to its anti-inflammatory, anti bacterial properties ----------------------------- I followed the know how for sensitive skin, it said to use 2 or 3 days a week and went to use the exfoliant 3 times this week for a trial For sensitive it is said to use a normal toner first before using this product which has to be pat on the face. it also state for acne of me skin, it is recommended that we use the product at a mask for the T-zone area with cotton pad for 30 secs to 1 min. This can only be done 2 times per week. When I tasted on my hand with the product, it really felt hydrating, non-sticky and refreshing. Overnight of applying the product without the step of using it as a mask, it gave me 1 pimple on my nose and a few bumps on my forehead. This usually happen when I try new products. Though this usually happen, the pimple I got really hurt more than usual. I used a acne spot treatment until the 2nd day of trial which was in 2 days time. Before I mentioned what I did for the 2nd day, I realised that my pimple from my nose got to the point where the pus is visible under the skin. It usually never happen this fast so I can tell that because of the product, it became an activator for treatment that I used. 2nd day , I did the mask as per recommended and what results I got was the bumps on my forehead turned into pimple and it start to hurt as well. My pimple from the nose calmed down quickly though after a day of this trial. On the 3rd that I've tried this product, I did the mask as well and overnight I start having skins getting peeled off and dry on my nose. Some of my hurtful pimple calmed down at a faster rate than before I use this product. Therefore, I found out after this trial that the product really help my skin but I think instead of doing 3x/week, it'll be better for me to just slowly let my skin get use to it by using it once a week. This idea of having a exfoliant as a toner is really clever and convenient. Would I use again? Yes until I see that there's a problem with the product and my skin. Until then, I will change the way I use the product and try to use it once per week.

It works to gently resurface skin, revealing a smoother and more even skin tone without causing irritation or dryness. I was expecting a fairly mild ph balancing toner with slight exfoliating properties a la the Cosrx AHA/BHA but got something much more surprisingly potent. 🔻Packaging: 120ml in a sturdy amber transparent plastic bottle with pour hole opening. 🔻Scent: No detectable (or added) fragrance, slightly sterile/chemical smelling like the Klairs supple preparation toner unscented but lighter. 🔻Application: The instructions recommend patting the product on gently with your fingers. For me though, my preferred method is to saturate a cotton pad and slightly press, not sweep onto skin. 🔻Performance: While I didn’t experience any stinging upon application, I did notice some low level slightly itchy tingle but it thankfully subsided after about 5 minutes. After using this toner, my skin does appear slightly smoother in texture. I’m not sure if others are using this on a daily basis but my sensitive skin simply cannot tolerate using it that frequently. When I trialed it on two consecutive days, my skin developed tell-tale signs of overexfoliation - redness and dry peely skin in the corners or my mouth. 🔻Bottom Line: Effective at delivering smoother, more even toned skin after extended use but I do think it would be best appreciated by people with normal, hardy, non-sensitive skin. I guess I just don't like exfoliating toners even if it's a fatter acid molecule that's safer for sensitive skin. I find some subtle irritation or discomfort occurs and I wind up rewashing my face.

The water is best used after cleansing your skin. You can apply it directly to your skin but I choose to add it to a cotton round and apply that way because it is easier. It comes out just like water. It did not cause any irritation to my skin and is really improving my skin. I have been doing it three times weekly, I can see a lot of improvement in my skin tone and texture. I really think it is an effective step to my skincare routine. I can see that my pores are not clogged liked they were before. My skin also feels a lot more smooth as well. I would definitely purchase this again.
