Being a lover of all things skin care I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality of this product! It has really minimized my pores and left better complexion! It does leave my face feeling a little “tacky” but it’s not bad. I would highly recommend this product!

Mandelic acid is extracted from bitter almonds, and belongs to the Alpha Hydroxyl Acid(AHA) family. It helps to improve all skin types from oily and acne prone to mature, sensitive and everything in between. It has capabilities to exfoliate gently plus its oil soluble which allows it to not only exfoliate the surface of the skin but work deeper on the pores as well. It also helps in accelerating the cell turnover, by dissolving tiny bonds that hold skin cells together. As my experience with this product goes, i felt like its gentle but stings abit at first application like any other acids. My skin felt soft n smooth and also seems to evenout the skin tone. It contains antibacterial properties which are extremely helpful in helping with acne too. It regulates sebum production which controls acne outbreak. I’m always on the look out for a gentle exfoliating product. I’m a avid retin a user so I need to be careful of stripping my skins barrier. Mandelic acid is derived from Almand’s. It has a larger molecule than glycolic so therefore it’s more gentle. Don’t let that fool you because it’s still very effective as an exfoliator. It just doesn’t cause as much irritation as glycolic or even lactic acid. I think you’d be pleased with an appropriate product for your skin type coming from Wishtrend. They are renowned for their products

I decided to try this product because I have never used anything like it. Well...its because there is nothing else like it and its very unique. Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water by Wishtrend is an amazing product and unique experience. This product works on all skin types, removes and exfoliates removing dead skin cells, and helps to smooth rough and dull skin. My skin is very sensitive and it worked gently and I experienced no issues with sensitivity. I personally use this product after cleansing. I apply to my face a liberal amount while wiping on my face in a gentle motion. I have noticed smoother, brighter, and softer skin since using this product. The product also smells nice which is a big deal for me. Overall, this product impressed me, met my needs, and worked.

I received this product for review thankfully as once I read its description I knew it was a must try for me. Mandelic Acid 5 Skin Prep Water by Wishtrend is formulated to clean deep down without the use of harsh exfoliants, so it will not irritate even the most sensitive of skin. Mandelic Acid is great for acne prone skin as it does not cause irritation while it acts as an antibacterial and anti inflammatory. I tried this just after showering and having already washed my face with an extremely well known and quite expensive all natural acne cleanser. As you can see from the picture of my used cotton ball..ewwwww! I thought my face WAS CLEAN 😱😱😱 Not only that but it did not irritate my skin in the slightest using two anti acne products back to back. This actually left my skin feeling cool, CLEAN and refreshed! I will definitely keep this in my skincare arsenal and after seeing what 3 drops removed from my skin onto that cotton ball, I honestly don't see a need for that cleanser I have been using for two years now..it's time to take out that trash! What can I say about this great product that hasn't already been said? I am able to use this several times a week even tho I have very sensitive skin. This is because the molecules are larger than other acids or so I've read. I've been using this since January thanks to @lovesblackshoes sending as a gift. I jumped at the chance to get a backup from @08l at a discount. Since I've been using my skin in smoother and I've had no breakouts. I will definitely recommend and repurchase.

The Mandelic 5% Skin Prep Water is an exfoliating water, which works gently even on sensitive skin. It removes the built-up dead skin to enhance the effects of following skin care products. It helps even out dull skin and/or uneven skin tone and smoothens rough skin. The prep water contains 120 ml (4.05 oz) and has a slightly astringent, sour-ish scent, but the fragrance is very light. It has a stopper to keep it from going everywhere and is easy to dispense onto a cotton pad. It’s a clear and watery liquid and absorbs and also removes dirt and dead skin on the surface of the skin pretty easily. It can burn your skin if you have open wounds or if you’ve been picking at your pimples. Recommended use is after cleansing, apply an adequate amount of product to the skin and pat lightly to absorb. If more effective exfoliating is desired, saturate a cotton pad with product and use it to wipe skin. After using, as this product is more chemical exfoliation, you don’t really see a huge removal of dead skin all at once, it more like sloughs off throughout the day after using it. I do feel it removed dead skin and it was easy to use, especially right before using a sheet mask. It does sting when wiping over areas that have open wounds or pimples (or for me, hives) but it’s not an intense stinging, it disappears very fast. The scent is noticeable at first but fades so quickly that I think if you don’t care for fragrance, you’d still like this product. Overall it’s also quite gentle and I would recommend this for sensitive skin types as well as all skin types. What I like: this product is exfoliating without being too rough and it’s great if you need something super gentle. The fragrance is so light and fades very quickly. The other ingredients are great and I feel like this is the perfect thing to use before using a sheet mask. It’ll also last a long time as you don’t need much to wipe down your skin. What I don’t like: you don’t really get the same instant gratification of like using a peeling gel but it does work. Otherwise good product. Rating: 8.5/10

It is a gentle exfoliating water developed to smoothen skin tone and texture. With that sensitive skin of mine, finding that great product is a huge relieve. I use it twice a week and my skin is smooth, with almost no breakouts. Feels water like, dries quick. I wanted to try out Pixi's glow tonic, but I wimped out bc I was afraid the glycolic acid would irritate my sensitive skin. 🍑 Mandelic Acid is great for skincare acid beginners, like me, bc it's one of the more gentle AHAs. It is also good for those who don't necessarily have a lot of acne, but want to have a more even skin tone and get rid of some pigmentation. The ingredients also list Centella Asiatica Extract, a favorite for acne skincare products 🍑 Since this was my first time using acids, I was super careful and attentive to my skin so when I my skin started getting a little irritated and broke out 2 days in to using this product, I freaked out and stopped. My breakout was most likely due to stress from school and I probably overreacted lol. Anyways I talked to @pdxbeautiful, who is such a sweetheart, and she helped me go through my routine and how to get back into using the Mandelic Acid again with better results 🍑 I have noticed my skin feeling softer and less 'bumpy' since using this product. I will say, though, I probably have not been using it long enough to give a full review, but so far, not bad! I use it as a cleansing toner right after I either double cleanse or wash with water. . . It's a watery, clear and apparently scentless mild exfoliating toner that claims to be safe for sensitive skin, hydrating and soothing for blemishes. It claims to help with evening skin tone and provide exfoliation. I haven't personally checked the pH but have read several blog posts about it being somewhere around 4. Using @labmuffinbeautyscience Free acid calculator, this should have about 1% free acid, making it very weak. So I didn't expect much exfoliation from this. . . For me this product is just OK. I think it generally meets all its claims, except for the exfoliating. It doesn't offend me in any way, but it's also not that exciting to use. I feel it's soothing and my skin drinks it right up but it's not the most hydrating either. I can appreciate no scent, I know that's huge for some, but I need just a little natural fragrance at least. I don't think it actually "boosts" the effectiveness of my other products like some other prep toners I've used. . . I personally will not purchase this again, but I can see why it would work for a lot of people. I plan to finish the bottle. Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water. I saw many wonderful reviews on Instagram for this product and wanted to try it so bad. I was very excited to see it on @0.8l_usa. didn't even think twice and grabbed it😀. I must admit it's beyond my expectations. My skin loves it. I love the color of the box and the product comes in brown thick plastic bottle. It's a clear liquid that has a very mild smell. I am using it twice a week as it is suggested by the brand. It gently exfoliates and smooths skin tone & texture. It removes dead skin cells and smoothes dull, rough skin. It can be applied after cleansing and can be used by any skin type. Great for acne. I have combination skin and it works great on oily parts as well as dry areas on my face. I haven't used it for long since i just got it last week and it has to be used twice a week. I am hoping to see more results in next few weeks. my skin gets really oily during summer and i hope this will help my skin throughout summer. What's in it: ⚡Mandelic Acid 5% - Gently exfoliates, leaving skin smooth and prepped for application of other products. This was first used on my face, but now I mainly use it on my neck. I often ignored that area when it came to skin care, but it's felt noticeably smoother afterward. The product is non-irritating and unscented. This gets 👍🏻x2 from me. Hope to try more products from this brand in the future.
