I’m not going to lie I had mixed feelings when deciding to test out this product. I’ve used acids before and have had both good and bad experiences. I apprehension eased up after I did my homework on this acid...... Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is a mild exfoliating toner that contains 5 % Mandelic acid and is said to be mild enough for sensitive skin and daily use. It is supposed to hydrate while it exfoliates dead skin of the surface of your face, help improve skintone and texture and help with acne due to its antibacterial properties. When I began to use this product I would use it at night and every other night just to be on the safe side. The first few days I felt a mild prickling sensation on my skin. As soon as I continued with the rest of my routine my skin felt perfectly fine. After about 3-4 nights of feeling the prickliness on my skin the feeling went away and there was no discomfort at all. I decided to stop using any other exfoliant/ acid while trying this products so I could give a genuine review. After using for about 2 weeks I have noticed that my skin feels a lot smoother and softer. I have not experienced any dryness whatsoever.... probably because I have been adding moisturizing products to my routine to compensate using the acid. I haven’t seen a huge difference in my pigmentation but I know that may take a little longer. I highly recommend this product anyone looking for a mild exfoliant that won’t be irritating on the skin.(** my skin type is oily/combo**). Ugh YES. FINALLY! I've been wanting to get to on my face ever since it launched, and it's finally mine!! Sooo lets talk about it: did it live up to the hype? Well, yes and no. Yes, it exfoliated my skin gently and definitely helped to brighten and even out my skin tone over tone. However- I almost wonder if it's TOO gentle. I've been a hardcore acids user for a while. I can't say that this really exfoliated and battled acne the way that my stronger acids definitely do. Honestly- I would need to cut all my other acids cold turkey for at least two months to see if this can stand it's ground against my hormonal break outs... and that makes me panicky because going back to the stronger stuff would definitely lead to purging. Yay! . 🌿 First of all, Mandelic Acid has larger molecular size which means it's gentle enough to not irritate sensitive skin. Compare to glycolic acid, that one acid used in so many other product, Pixi Glow Tonic for example, is harsher and often prone to skin irritation. So of course, I prefer the milder ones. . 🌿 This product claimed to be an exfoliating water formulated with 5% Mandelic Acid (Almonds) that is nonirritating and suitable for daily use. Helps remove death skin cells, providing a nice canvas in order to enhence the effects of following skincare products. . 🌿 Due to its gentle and light formular, the effectiveness will be limit, however, I know for sure it's safe to use in longterm and the result will increase over time. The list of ingredient is extremely pleasant: beta glucan, sodium hyaluronate, centella asiatica as well as others natural extracts contributed together to create this wonderful prep water. . 🌿 The toner is clear and watery, there is a slight medicinal scent to it. I usually skip the cotton pad and just pat the product onto my skin for better absorption. It does sting over active cyst or open wounds so be beware. I’ve seen this Mandelic Acid water all over the gram, so I was excited to snag this as a try now from 0.8L. This water is intended as a mild exfoliant but can definitely be irritating to some. Be careful not to use other exfoliating products while you are using this as well. There is a slight smell to the product, but it does disappear. The products removes dead skin build up and left my skin looking refreshed and vibrant. My only qualm is that it had a slightly sticky residue after applying. Also there was a slight burning sensation that went away quickly but did exist. The product retails at $22, which I’m not sure I would pay in the future but would definitely repurchase if this is on sale. Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is a hydrating and nonirritating exfoliant. This can be used daily but I would suggest using this every other day or two times a week when starting out if it stings a little. This skin prep water has almonds so if your allergic to nuts or almonds I wouldn't suggest using this. I find the mandelic acid skin prep water to help with my hyperpigmentation and works well with my post-acne mark. I also notice an improvement in my skin texture that makes my skin look glowy and smooth. I would suggest not using other exfoliants while using this since this is already a gentle exfoliator. I also recommend using an SPF after using this since the skin is a bit sensitive after exfoliation. I give this Mandelic Acid 5% Skin prep water an 8.9/10. I have been using this product recently and i can tell you that it’s a great product. It effectively exfoliates and removes dead skin. The only disadvantage about this product is that it can’t be used with vitamin C or BHA/AHA so i have to limit the time i use it.

Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water by Wishtrend is a hydraying and non irritating exfoliant that can be used daily.  It claims to remove built up dead skin to enhance the effects of following skin care products, it helps to even out dull and/or uneven skin tone, and smoothens rough skin.   This arrived in a nice sleek looking cooper colored box with directions in English and Korean.  In the box is a slender plastic brown bottle with a white twist cap, it also had directions in English and Korean, and has a life expectancy of 12 months.  It is clear in color and smells somewhat like iodine, but goes away quickly. I applied this product with my fingers by pouring a small amount either onto my fingers or by pouring it directly onto my face, then rubbing it over my face, and then lightly patting it into my skin.  It does leave a sticky residue, but I found the more I patted it onto my skin the less sticky it felt. I noticed about an hour or two after application, any dry skin I had from breakouts started to flake off.  My dark spots have lightened up but only slightly. However, I am confident that with continued use they will lighten up even more. This hydrated my skin and did not dry it out at all even on my acne. I had the opportunity to try the Mandelic Acid 5 Skin Prep Water at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. I don’t have an acne problem, but thought I’d try this prep water more for irritation and redness. After reading reviews, I used the product very sparingly so that it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I found that to be very good advice, as I could feel that it might be a bit much if used too much or often. It did seem to do a nice job on my redness, per the small amount used. I will definitely continue use as the product will last a long time.

I love this product so much that I purchased a second bottle. It's a mild exfoliating AHA toner. Mandelic acid is the mildest AHA you can start with. I like to soak a cotton pad with this and swipe it on my face at night. it's not super strong so you don't have to worry about over-exfoliation.
